Frequently asked questions
These answers cover the practical things people often want to know. Jane remains the source for current appointment options, fees, and availability.
Who can book with Bee?
Honeycomb Osteo currently welcomes clients aged 16 and older. This age range reflects Bee's practice scope.
What happens during a first visit?
You will talk through your health history and what has brought you in. Bee then assesses movement and posture, discusses what she notices, and may begin treatment if it is appropriate and there is time.
Do I need to choose a technique?
No. Book an appointment through Jane rather than trying to select a technique yourself. Your first visit is where Bee discusses what may be appropriate.
How long is an appointment and what does it cost?
See the current appointment options, durations, and fees in Jane. The booking site is the source for up-to-date availability and pricing.
Will my benefits cover the appointment?
Coverage varies by plan. Check with your benefits provider before booking if reimbursement matters to you. Honeycomb Osteo does not guarantee coverage.
Where is the clinic?
Honeycomb Osteo is at 1230a 17 Ave SW, Unit 5, Calgary. Bee sends preparation information and a building-entry video before the appointment. Contact Bee if you need specific parking or accessibility information.
Do I need a referral?
No referral requirement is currently stated. Check your own benefits plan if you need documentation for reimbursement.
Can osteopathy replace medical care?
No. Manual osteopathic therapy is not emergency medical care and does not replace appropriate assessment or treatment from a medical professional.
